Angsana Great Barrier Reef Australia is in a Brilliant Location with great service

Hi friends before I tell you about this movie I thank you for visiting my blog and hopefully enjoying the benefits ... ... ... ....!

Where exactly is the Angsana Great Barrier Reef Resort?

The Angsana Great Barrier Reef has the most amazing position at Palm Bay north of Cairns on the east coast of Australia right at the northern end of the Great Barrier Reef. In fact it is the only resort in Australia that can say it faces the Coral Sea. Add to this the resort has the world's oldest rainforest behind it, and it is the only resort on palm bay with direct access to the beach
How do I get to Angsana Palm Bay.
The resort is 16 miles from the airport at Cairns, and on request a vehicle will meet you at the airport.

Accommodation at the Angsana

There are sixty seven luxurious air conditioned suites, which anyone would describe as spacious. The decor is extravagent with Thai silk Drapes.

One of the lovely things here at Angsana is the principle that no building should be higher than a palm tree so the limit is four stories, which makes the whole resort really blend into the background.
As you will be right on the beach it would be a great idea to book an ocean front suite. For those used to European size suites, the accommodation could come as something of a shock. There is a fully equipped kitchen, and laundry as well; with  not only a large lounge but also a dining area. When you add to this two bathrooms you may have some idea of the scale of the suites.
Incidentally if shower water pressure is important to you then you will love the showers.
You will also have Miele appliances and the TV is flat screen

.

Food at Angsana Great Barrier Reef

There is only one restaurant, and whilst the food is good enough, the service is a bit slow. The saving grace here is that you don't have to go far to find other good restaurants to eat in.

Facilities at Angsana Palm Cove

There are three swimming pools and a heated jet pool. Perhaps there is a little shortage of space around these pools, and consequently a lack of sunbeds, probably because the emphasis is on the beach. having said that swimming is tricky for more than six months in the year because of the jellyfish stinging risk. There is an area protected by nets if you feel you must swim, but that can be a bit off putting.

The Angsana Spa as you would expect from Angsana is an award winning experience with a huge selection of treatments that are unique to the resort.
A very useful facility is the library, where you can deposit the books you bought on the way out and replace them by books bought by others on their way here. A marvellous thought!! Add to this a DVD collection and even a bore family if the weather isn't up to much are kept happily quiet.

Staff at the Angsana Cairns

The housekeeping staff are extremely well trained and willing, so the suites are scrupulously clean and tidy.
You may however feel that no matter how willing and helpful the front of house staff are, that to be called 'mate' all the time is not really what you might expect from an Angsana resort.
Summary
Whilst Angsana aims to be one of the top Great Barrier Reef resorts it is pretty good but there is still work to be done. Having said that it is still pretty  good accommodation at the Great Barrier Reef.
If you have experienced Far East hospitality in five star resorts you may find the Angsana somewhat wanting. On the other hand if this is a first time, you'll find it pretty good.
Finally the Angsana offers unrivalled close access to the very north of the Great Barrier Reef
thank`s for all

La Penina Hotel on the Algarve in Portugal remains one of the very best resorts in the Algarve

Hi friends before I tell you about this movie I thank you for visiting my blog and hopefully enjoying the benefits ... ... ... ....!
Where is Le Meridien Ile des Pins.
It is on Ile des Pins, Island of Pines is at the very south of New Caledonia in the South Pacific, probably one of the most beautiful places on earth. It rests next to the stunningly beautiful Oro Bay, which has a beautiful and spectacularly turquoise coloured lagoon, and powder white sand beach, and sits in a century old coconut plantation

How to get to The Meridien Ile des Pins
Normally to get to Le Meridien Ile des Pins from the USA you have to fly in via Fiji, although you cvan fly to Noumea directly from Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. The Island of Pines can then be accessed by local airline or by high speed catamaran. Quite a journey from Europe but so worthwhile.
What is Le Meridien Ile des Pins like
This very much depends on why you chose Le Meridien. As a honeymoon destination it is spectacularly romantic if somewhat inaccessible from Europe. On the other hand if you like frenetic activity you could find it boring.

If you don't mind slow laid back service, and the lack of inexpensive internet facilities, and the fact that expense makes mobile phone use inadviseable, but you love colour and beautiful scenery then this could be for you. However if you need things like a fitness centre and a large swimming pool, mind you why the hotel even needs a swimming pool with such a beautiful lagoon doesn't make sense really, then you might struggle.
This is the South Pacific, thousands of miles from home, and as a guest you need to realise this, presumably that was why you came
Accommodation at Le Meridien Ile des Pins
The 49 deluxe rooms and suites, are all well equipped and roomy.
If you want the best views from your bungalow, then try to book Bungalow 36.
Costs
Described as luxury at a price, please check out details below.
Food at Le Meridien Ile des Pins
La Pirogue restaurant offers French/Melanesian cuisine featuring fresh, island produce including just caught seafood and handpicked herbs from the garden. In all honesty you would not come here for the food, but again this is the South pacific. What can't be caught or grown here has to be imported. Put another way, the food quality is unpredictable, and be warned it is expensive
Activities at Le Meridien Ile des Pins
You can do nothing, and just enjoy the spectacular scenery and views. Go exploring, and even more understand how spectacularly beautiful the isle of Pines is.
Take a lagoon tour, go scuba diving, or snorkelling are very obvious things to do. The village of Vao is worth a visit, or you can go on a genuine south sea island outrigger trip around Oro or Upi Bay.
The Meridien itself organises Tai-Chi, learning tradition cooking called 'bougna'. Take lessons in traditional fishing way, or be taen to check out the local culture on a guided tour.
This is not a place to come, and water ski, or jet ski, and if you understand this before you come, then you will have a wonderful time.

Facilities at Le Meridien Ile des Pins.
There is a small swimming pool, but who wants a pool when you have a lagoon, and a well stocked Library, plus a snooker table, and you can play chess
Summary
If you accept the fact that European or USA standards do not apply in New Caledonia, then you will have a wonderful time. Just because a hotel is set amidst some of the most beautiful scenery on earth doesn't mean eveything will work like clockwork, and you will have the levels of food, and service you have come to expect at home.
This is an absolutely amazing place to come for a honeymoon, probably as a stopover for two or three days. Just enjoy what you see, and go with the flow when it comes to service and food, and come with deep pockets. The South pacific is not cheap, but you will remember the beauty forever.thank`s for all

Turnberry Hotel Resort Golf Course, the Luxury Collection, Premier 5 Star Hotel in Scotland

Hi friends before I tell you about this movie I thank you for visiting my blog and hopefully enjoying the benefits ... ... ... ....!

Where is the Turnberry Hotel

It is on the west coast of Scotland, in Ayrshire, overlooking Ailsa Craig, on a hillside, with the famous Turnberry Golf Links spread out below, and the Isle of Arran in the distance.

What is the Turnberry Hotel like?

One of the very top hotels in Ayrshire Scotland, and  top luxury collection hotels in Scotland are the kind of descriptions that we read before going.
In my life I have stayed in some luxury Scottish Hotels, but Turnberry is as good if not better than almost all the others.

The arrival is spectacular, the frontage amazing, and as we arrived in the evening a lone bagpiper was walking up and down outside the front playing some strirring tunes. The photographs I had seen of the imposing frontage actually didn't do the Turnberry Hotel justice. It looks massive and baronial.

Accommodation at the Turnberry

It is always difficult to generalise about the accommodation in any hotel because it all depends on your personal thoughts about your bedroom or suite. What I can say is that our room was spacious, relatively close to the public rooms, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was more than adequate, and everything seemed almost like it had been recently decorated. The TV worked, the tea making facilities worked, so we were very happy.thank`s for all

of the best Bali Rental Villas

Hi my friend told me before this movie I say thank you for visiting my blog. enjoy and hopefully useful………….!

Villa Kamboja Seminyak one of the best Bali Rental Villas

Where is Villa Kamboja

Villa Kamboja is a wonderful five bedroom Bali rental villa just outside Seminyak in Batu Belig. It is about 40 minutes from the airport, and you are met by a chauffeur in a large airconditioned vehicle, and the car plus chauffeur are at your disposal throughout your stay. You have to pay for the fuel, and there is a daily rate, but what a fantastic start to a vacation.
You can walk down to the beach, but it wasn't really attractive enough to want to go back, so we were perfectly happy with where we were. They are building more villas right next door, and this may disturb the peace and tranquility a bit, but Villa Kamboja otherwise looks out over Rice Paddy fields.

What is Villa Kamboja Like?

Arriving in the dark in our chauffered
villa kamboja Seminyak
vehicle the first sensation was confusion, as the driver pulled into a corrugated iron roofed shack which turned out to be the garage, and also where the staff lived.
Then we were impressed as the staff all lined up to greet us, the villa manager, chef, gardener, and the maids.
We weren't allowed to touch our bags, and we were then shown the gate which took us into the villa itself.
First impressions will live withy us forever. With buildings on all four sides, a floodlit pool in the centre, and at the far end the sitting room, and dining area were all wide open and lit up so the effect was spectacular.
A BBQ was on the go, and it took us about two minutes to undress and swim.
The design of the villa had two bedrooms in a separate bungalow on the left, and the other bedrooms upstairs on the right, where there was two huge balconies, and a huge indoor bar/sitting room, which we never used.

Downstairs apart from a well equipped kitchen, dining
villa kamboja seminyak
sitting room, there was a separate TV room which was a refuge from the heat and humidity on occasions.
The pool was a jolly good size, and at the end opposite the dining area was a room laid out like a hall reception area with beautiful furniture, then in one corner a bale, which is a large open on all four sides sitting area, where the ladies had massages regularly. In the other corner was a jacuzzi hidden behind luscious green foliage. It was to my initial disgust cold, but very refreshing!

How much did our Bali Rental Villa Cost?

It needn't cost as much as you think!!
I would recommend three places to look
How to beat your travel agent's holiday quotes which will show you exactly how to organise the best deal to Bali
Find the best deal, compare prices, and read what other travelers have to say about Bali Rental Villas in Seminyak at TripAdvisor
If you insist on Staying in a Hotel you'll find the best prices HERE
Last year for the first time on vacation we rented a villa in Bali. Cheap Villas were what we looked for, but we found nothing, but what we did find was negotiation over the price was possible.
The first thing to say that there is no cheap Bali rental Villas that we could see that we liked.
Villa Kamboja was far above our expectations.
The price we negotiated was around USD425 per day.
Readers might blink at the price, but as a family of four who need two bedrooms in a resort, then with what a villa gives you there is no comparison.
Included in this price came a staff of five at our beck and call, including a chef. When you consider that the chef did the shopping, and that worked out at less than £40 for our food, and drink, including ample beers, breakfast lunch and dinner, you may begin to realise why a Bali resort villa is such good value for money.

Ambience at Villa Kamboja.

The lifestyle took a day or two to get accustomed to, because we were waited on literally hand and foot.
The whole service element was incredible, and I feel it is better in the Far East than anywhere else.
The sun beds and the sitting out area at the end of the pool were well used. In fact we began quickly to feel like the owners it was so comfortable. There were unlimited clean towels, and the staff were almost invisible, but appeared as if by magic when they were needed.

Food at Villa Kamboja

Breakfast was eggs and bacon, pancakes, fresh fruit, toast, and coffee or tea. It took a day or so before the lady of the house stopped taking her dishes into the kitchen, and allowed the staff to clear up.

The chef then came and told us what we were short of, and asked if we required lunch and dinner, and what did we want. His skills were just fantastic, and the food he cooked superb.
It was magic to have the shopping done, and so cheap when you consider what you would spend in a hotel for mass cooked food.

What is there to do in a Bali Rental Villa?

It appears that most rental villas come with a driver and a vehicle, but you do need to make proper use. By this I mean, there is a daily rate for the vehicle plus fuel, so it is better to take one of the plentiful taxis when you want to go out to eat in Seminyak, because even a twenty minute trip in the hire vehicle counts as a full day.
Our chauffeur was magic, and there is so much to see and do, and he took us all over the island, and with his local knowledge we visted art galleries, jewellery making factories, Ubud, and we ate lunch out a good deal, and had some great inexpensive meals.
Bali is a lovely island, and is recovering from the bombings, and we never felt uncomfortable anywhere except perhaps with the monkeys at one of the Hindu temples!!

Weather in Bali

I can only speak for when we were there which was over Easter. It rained without fail every day at around tea time, and there were some spectacular thunderstorms.
The volume of rain is incredible, and what a joy to swim in the pool during the heavy rain, which also reoccurred some times later in the evening.
All the rest of the time it was hot and humid, so swimming in the floodlit pool late in the evning was like entering a warm bath.
Conclusions
I cannot recommend Villa Kamboja enough. Everything from the cost to the service we received was perfect, and the company Bali Villa Worldwide[all one word dot com] was superb. A Bali Rental Villa is something to experience at least once in your life

Bayfield House Barbados Bed and Breakfast at its very best

Food at Bayfield House
Bayfield House is essentially a bed and breakfast place, but that should not bring to mind the kind of place that gives you breakfast and then throws you out for the day. The excellent breakfast is cooked to order, and eaten on the veranda. A couple of nights a week you can eat in with a menu that would put top restaurants to shame.
Trevor and Pam who run Bayfield will very happily direct you to good restaurants both nearby and a bit further away. You need to realise that eating on the west coast of Barbados can be expensive, so take their recommendations for places to go and eat seriously.

Accommodation at Bayfield House

The spacious rooms have all been named after Barbados Sugar Plantations, and you will find them large and airy. To use the words fantastic value for the money you pay would not be an understatement. One of the key things on a vacation is to have a comfortable bed, and nice bed linen, and that is exactly what you will find here.
Outside each room is a large wrap around veranda with plenty of chairs to sit on, and incidentaly but importantly the rooms all have air conditioning, ceiling fans, tea and coffee making facilities, and a refrigerator. An added bonus is complimentary WiFi connection, and a hair dryer. It goes without saying all bedrooms are ensuite.

Activities at Bayfield House

This is very much a place to relax and unwind, and you will not find the pool is crowded!! In fact you could even imagine Bayfield was your own property.
The Royal Westmoreland is a short walk away, and you can use their Indulgence Spa.
On the nearby Mullins beach you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas, and for lunch there is Mullins beach Bar and Restaurant.
Being the west coast of Barbados it is a great place to see the sunset with a rum punch in hand. Taking the local bus is an activity all by itself, but if you wish to roam further afield then car hire is essential and Trevor will organise all that for you. You can easily use the local buses to go out for dinner in the evening, and it is good to see local life on your vacation, something which never happens when you stay in a large soulless resort.
